What are some fun, high paying jobs that dont take 8 years of education after high school? |
I looked at the top 10 highest paying jobs out of curiosity -and greed- and I saw most of them are medical, lawyers and such. All of those jobs are around 6-8 years of education. Are there any fun, high paying jobs that aren't so medically inclined? (In the yearly $90,000 area, because thats around what the top 10 jobs pay and i haven't found anything around there that isin't medical and I'm very interested in finding out things like that) 1. Cop or Correctional Office - In CA, the average cop or CO can make $100K plus with just a little OT. College: Usually less than 2 years. high school janitor Pilots make more money than surgeons and they don't have to go to school too long. I agree, being a chef is very lucrative--IF you are good! This may not appeal to you, and if it did you should do serious research before embarking on it, but I was an exotic dancer for a long time and put myself through a Bachelor's degree and a Master's with the money I made. Your geographic location will be the biggest determinant of how much money you could make. I worked in 49 different cities around the world, in 56 clubs, and very much enjoyed the work. My best $ cities were Anchorage in the summer, San Francisco (although this may have changed), Tokyo, and Los Angeles. I made pretty good money in London, too, but I believe the possibility of good money is less now (there are so many clubs). Oh, and Las Vegas in October, January, and March. |
