Any hints on where to find the best conditions as for living, jobs, and education?

Any hints on where to find the best conditions as for living, jobs, and education?

wanna narrow it down to a country or a state...it's a big world out there.

Google for "best places" or "places rated" - seems like every magazine out there has their annual ratings based on their own criteria.

I've have fun with www.findyourspot.com which takes you thru a questionnaire and tells you the best place for you.

But keep in mind, each of these lists has their own biases and data and scoring model, so they're only a starting point. for example, Plano TX shows up on a lot of them and I wouldn't live there, not because it's a bad place but jsut because I don't like the generic suburban wasteland that it is.

Boulder CO also shows up on a lot of these, and it's a great city except it's so expensive you can't really afford to live there, so you're stuck in the generic suburban wasteland north of Denver.

No place is perfect but some are definitely better than others. For example right now I'm in Stevens Point WI, which I had never heard of but it's nice city that I really like. At least, until the snow falls then I'm outta here.

Where do you live? If you live somewhere like the UK, then you have huge opportunites to educate yourself, and get the career you want. The things to ask yourself are, what do I want from life? What are my skills and talents? How do I start trying to achieve my goals? Then do some research into the types of career and jobs that might help meet those goals, and the kind of training / education you will need. It is a lifetimes journey, but it is worth trying to find something to do that you feel really passionate about.
