Education, Job, and AA degree.. Is there no option 4 me?? |
I'm planning on going for an AA degree in English but I don't know if there's anything at all out there for me. I mean I hear ppl say there's not much. So if I can't find a job with that college degree than how can I pay for my university education? Is there a paper or publisher you could work for as an editorial assistant? What about the local school district as a teacher's aide? sorry, the only reason to even bother with an AA in english is if you plan on getting a BA in english. no jobs for you. Stick it out until you get your residency....typically only 12 months for most states. i am 46 years old, and more or less in the same boat as you. i am trying to get in to college (also a.a.) but b/c of the status i filed (irs) they want me to amend my taxes. to amend means i have to pay 1,443. im so tired of telemarketing jobs. min.wage jobs. this was my last hope. so tomorrow ill go back to school and hope for the best. my advise to you: be .patient, do not despair. if not now then later. |
