I want immigration reform, healthcare, better jobs, lower taxes, no war, low$Education why would I vote Repub?

Pdaddy:1st don't get personal 2nd do YOU say "mine!" when the government wants you taxes to fund our country?

Any one in politics is part of the smoke screen . You are never going to get better jobs , health care , lower cost and better education , or the borders secured .
If this is the reasoning behind your vote you are one of the losers in this nation and have no clue how to make a living .
See no matter who is president you can always make money . A weakening dollar means foreign currency and gold investments , a looming war means defense contractors become good investments , Watch the laws that are sponsored in congress and how they effect the market . Did you purchase drug company stocks and had you invested in Halliburton or any defense contractor or gold or foreign currency or looked for whats obvious to anyone you would now have almost tripled your wealth . Watch todays weather and fly over your states agriculture and look around and tell me if crops are going to be bigger or smaller then last year . You can tell just by asking the farmers and workers .

Get involved in the world around you and stop worrying about who gets elected and see if you can plan around what you know they will do and act accordingly .
No matter republican or democrat all I want to know is how they will vote and what bill is before them and how it will change the markets . Who is going to benefit and how I can make a buck off it .

.

dems already are saying they wont "pull out" and they will raise taxes, so i guess you might be better off voting independent. but hey you vote for whomever you wish, thats what is great about this country

Ask not what you want of your country, ask what your country wants of you.

Nothing is going to change.

Because lower taxes you will not find anywhere within the ranks of the democratic party. Your free "health care" will cost you about another 30% more than you pay in taxes right now if you vote for hillary, and more money out of the economy means less jobs for you when the dems hike up the taxes and let Bushes tax cuts die out.

It sounds like you should support Ron Paul. Hey I like the guy

And you want all of this for free... If Hillary does the health care thing, you will understand what TAXES are all about.

You're into S&M???

Good point. But why would you vote Democrat either?

Immigration reform, neither side has done much, Healthcare, you can have healthcare now, or if what you mean is Universal health care, the Dems are your guys, lower taxes, The Dems all want to raise taxes by an alltime record amount, the Reps want to make the tax cuts permanent, Reps on that one, No war, toss up.......I guess you should prioritize the issues and go with the candidate that hits on the most important ones to you. None of them are gonna hit all your points.

You would vote Republican for some of the reasons you listed.Republicans will stand for immigration reform, better jobs, lower taxes in addition to strong national defense.Democrats will raise your taxes then waste the money. For years the democrats controlled congress and kept spending more and more money on education and welfare. When the republicans took control in the mid nineties they at least were able to pass welfare reform bills that actually worked and saved taxpayers money.

AFTER WHAT THE REPUBLICANS HAVE DONE TO THIS COUNTRY I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT WE WILL HAVE ANY OF THAT IN THE NEAR FUTURE.....THEY TELL THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR JUST TO GET IN...LOOK AT GOV. DUVAL PATRICK....HE TOOK THE SURPLUS OF LOTTERY MONIES AND DISTRIBUTED IT TO HIMSELF AND OTHERS AS A PAY RAISE AND NOT ONE CENT WENT TO THE PEOPLE.....THEY ALL ARE FULL OF SHI-!!

Lower taxes and more government benefits are mutually exclusive. Utopia does not exist.

Because you are a selfish immature person, you want all these things irregardless of who has to pay for them, typical of a two year old child, do you say "MINE" when someone tries to take something away from you?

Well lets see:
Immigration reform? Niether side actually wants to do anything. We openly allow illegal immigration to counter-balance falsely high US wages to make us competitive in teh world market. You can close the border & seriously enforce the laws if you want, but to do that you'll either permenantly bankrupt the US economy or have to do away with things like minimum wage & unions - reduce income/standard of living to be more in line with our competitors. You wanna just make it legal for them to be here? That'd mean another 20million illegals on top of that. The economy can only support so many people at once.

Healthcare? What is it you want, socialized medicine? You understand that makes doctors very low paid govt employees, so no one wants to be a doctor anymore, certainly not the best & brightest, so there is a shortage of available care & it gets rationed to the extent that people die waiting months for a simple proceedure that'd get done in days at a US hospital. That's Canada & the UK right there. Healthcare costs a lot though because the numbers in the babyboomer generation push up the demand vs supply, hence price for everyone. They're bankrupting medicare & social security too, what would you have us do about it? The best proposals out there are about breaking the link between insurance & employer, giving those same tax benefits to individuals, some stuff like that. The biggest issue though is just that people don't save for regular care & limit their insurance to high deductable chatostrophic care policies.

You want better jobs? Go to school & learn some work ethic. The only person who can make you successful is you. If everyone understood that & took it to heart then we'd be a lot more productive.

Lower taxes? The democrat proposal for next year is a massive increase, biggest in history, plus getting rid of all the cuts the current administration got passed. Truth is taxes really do have to be raised to gain a temporary fix for social security & medicare. Overall though, medicare, social security, defense, education, and debt service cover almost everything they take in. I'm all for smaller, cheaper, less invasive govt, but democrats are not.

Low cost education? You're right it's far too expensive per student, over 10k national avg in the US. The system is not at all efficient. The only way to fix that is competition, and that means vouchers or tax credits. Teacher's union has dems in their pocket though. The issue of going to a voucher/credit pgm is private/profit-motive schools will take low-cost (smart, well-behaved, etc) students while leaving the public system to deal with high-cost (spec ed, learning problems, behavior issues, etc) students w/ less money to do it on. How would you propose to fix that?

And you don't want a war. Okay, no one likes war. What I like even less though is running away to hide from problems till they grow out of control & make for a much much bigger & more costly fight later. You can't be an isolationist & have an American standard of living - that's hypocritical. We have responsibilities in the world & we have an obligation to protect the best interests of our nation. Right now we're in Iraq, and winning by the way, standing between the sides to prevent a civil war. Now, you hear that & think I mean Iraqis killing Iraqis & why should we not just let them all kill each other. If that's all it was, we probably would jsut get out of their way. The problem is we're standing between half of islam against the other half. The religion & region is battling for its soul between radicalism & being more progressive. Are you willing to let control of the mid-east & all it's oil go over to a united radical islamic coalition? Or, would you rather fight to move us toward lasting peace & stability? Isn't that worth some cost?

Because Ron Paul is the only one who will do that.

He opposed Iraq before it was cool and was warning us about it in 1997.

He's an obstetrician who delivered babies for free WHILE IN CONGRESS. His healthcare plan is based off the free market and he obviously cares about having people taken care of.

He'll cut the inefficient bureaucracy and repeal the 16th Amendment, getting rid of the income tax.

He'll secure our borders.

Our educational progress has gone down the tubes since the DoE came around, that's out the door with Dr. Paul.

If you want a strict constructionalist who would make the founders proud, vote Paul.

If you want lower taxes you want a smaller government. You can't demand socialized medicine and ask the government to control aspects of your life, but then demand lower taxes and say you want the government off your back.
