Have you used your college education for the job you work at? |
Have you used your college education for the job you work at? Yes. I have been to medical school and also done my post graduation in Pathology. I am a qualified doctor, Pathologist and now an administrator. Yep. Daily. Granted it's not my major exactly but I'm still a writer/editor in what I do. I majored in Journalism while in college. Nope... Sociology has little to do with pizza or cleaning houses or doing "demos" in stores. No, but i would have, had i decided to become a registered/qualified social worker Well.......I don't have a college education but....I am a foster parent and I had to go to 10 weeks of training and I I have to have 24 hours of on-going training each year, and NO I really don't use it! The training is very motivational, and educational but it is not usually any good when a problem comes up, and it is based on a group of children and what their needs may have been NOT on the individual child that is placed in our home so....we take it on a per child basis and do things differently with each child Well, I'm a bank teller and my major is psychology so not directly. I graduate in December and then I'm going to grad school in social work. My dream is to be a school social worker or counselor....then I'll definitely use my education, at least I hope so- I paid enough for it! Yes daily. i am a teacher educator teaching, teaching methodology of mathematics to student-teachers. i have masters degree in education and mathematics. have to use what i learned in both the streams daily. yes its helps...to some extend...but not to the full extend ok.........we generally dont get the right job....any i right It helped me to enter unfortunately not...when i was younger i just followed and obeyed my parents in what they wanted for me...they wanted me to take up pre-med course as a stepping stone to a medical degree...i finished the 4 year course, was able to pass the board exams...but since my heart wasn't really into it, i did not continue to medicine...i didn't want to be responsible for another person's life...i regretted that move...being too obedient is not always good...i wasted my time and the kind of job choices i had became very limited because of it... |
