Women working in nude jobs?

Why do some women sell themselves short by working in jobs taking all of their clothes off in a room full of strange men? Many give the excuse that they do it to support their children ect...ect... do you think they have some real anger issues toward men by taking all their money and laughing all the way to the bank? There are alot of men out there that feel they cannot find a real relatiomship and believe that these women are really into them and give them their last dollar. I feel that our sisters in life that expose themselves give men the wrong impression about all women in general. How do other women feel when they work 9-5 jobs and worked hard on an education to get it and are still paying off student loans? Why are some women out there allowed to make top dollar with no education or experience? ......and boy do they defend their positions when confronted about what they are doing and getting away with. Just watch the replies I get from this question!

In my opinion both rachel and lori K have it going on. Taking cloths off is the easy way out. I compare that to hookers, as again taking cloths off is easier. Just my opinion.

Ok, I just watched a documentary on this. 1. I don't feel it is morally right to sell your body for money or anything else. 2. I am not involved in this industry.

I think women do it because of the money, and also because they NEED men to want them in order to find their own self worth. I have a friend who thinks it would be "interesting" to be a porn star...she already sleeps around and enjoys getting attention from men and having them spend money on her. Now, these women do not lack depth and intellect, they are just starving for something that is missing in their life.

Life ain't fair, if you ain't learned that yet, you got a long way to go. Stop whining about what other people have and think about what you got. Having earned an education and have a steady job is something to be proud of, but it is in no way an excuse to degrade those who chose to work a job you do not agree with.

by getting a job as a stripper, for example. you get sexual attention from men. and that is what some woman are lacking. maybe thir husband at home no longer regard them as a sexy lady. but the strange men out there may think so. and may also give those lady sexual comments that the ladys are waiting to hear. they just give excuses as to earn money to support their kids. heck, why cant they get a more decent job. even they do not have high academic qualificaions, a simple saleslady or cleaner would do right?

I think you're totally off base here, woman make decisions just like men, they are making a statement for their entire gender base! That's YOUR take on their decision, and we're all responsible for our own decisions in life.

With money you can do anything. I don't do that. I have been happily married for 30 years to one man. But, I understand how and why those women do that kind of work. You gotta do whatever it takes sometimes to support yourself and if you have kids then you do everything to make sure they are cared for., At least you should do whatever you can for your kids..

OK the reason they get paid top dollar is because someone is willing to pay for it .... US GUYS... and most guys know the girls don't care for them. So really I dont see anything wrong with it unless the chick is a puppy or the guy is the loser that sits around gawking and not paying to watch... the girls are proforming a service and should be paid for it...

I suppose you consider it morally wrong for a woman to take her clothes off...and you have every right to feel that way. However, some women feel that there is no shame in taking their clothes off...and it is their right to feel that way.
Personally I don't have a problem with what someone does with their own body, it's not my decision, it's not my life. If a girl wants to take it all off and feels comfortable doing it then who are you to tell her she can't do it? As for the men, if they want to spend all their money watching girls dance, then so be it.

I have never taking off my clothes, I am putting myself through school and I have never felt the need to belittle a woman who chooses to do something else to make money. Luckily, women have a choice in this country and so do men...to each there own.

As a Christian woman who's ex-husband cheated on her with that type of woman, you can probably guess how I feel about it. On the other hand, we all have to pay for what we do someday. Those hard working women who make an honest dollar without shedding their clothes have respect and dignity from their families....what do strippers have?

I think that you're the one with the problem (yes thumb me down for that) by classing all women in the adult entertainment field into one category.

No, not all women who strip laugh at men on their way to the bank. Yes a lot of them are supporting a family. And the men who give all their money to these women in hopes and aspirations of a potential relationship are delusional. There are a lot of women who work in that field that are working hard to pay for their education so that they can have a 9-5 making a percentage of what they did stripping.

I feel that women who do not allow other women to express themselves as they choose and earn a living as they choose give men and women the wrong impression of what a woman is supposed to be.

So, when you get off your little soap box (and boy is it little) take a look at your sisters, all of them, and show them ALL the love that they deserve. Just because it is something that you wouldn't choose to do, doesn't mean that it's something that no one should choose to do.

And after further investigation into your questions, it seems that you have issues with 'Adult Entertainment Engineers' because your husband is obsessed with porn and strippers. Get a new husband, stop blaming the working girl for your husbands problems.

Let me preface my answer to this question by saying I am a very well educated married mother of 2. I work in the medical field and have spent most of my life in school. I still however feel it is a womans right to do with her body whatever she chooses. Who are you to judge? These women do not pull these men into the clubs and demand they fork over their last dollar. Men should show some restraint and not give in to such temptations. The fact is, sex sells. It would not be the avenue I would choose to pursue, but once again to each their own. I don't feel like these women that choose this way of making a living are hurting you or me in any way. They make very good money and as far as I am concerned they earn it.

I knew a few people who made their money that way... YEARS ago. For them, it was a job that paid them a lot of money for very little time. These were educated women with families and lives far beyond their jobs. Unfortunately, most of their co-workers were not the same. They all seemed to have very similar stories about sexual/physical abuse and drug use. Sad, sad stories...

If a guy is dumb enough to give a woman at a go-go bar his last dollar, then that is his problem. Why don't we blame the alcohol industry for drunk driving accidents and alcoholics? More people suffer because of that than because a guy can't figure out the game.

If I were a woman and able to do it, I probably wouldn't, but who is to say? I can't fault someone for making easy money - legally.

For those of you who call it "easy money" its not easy. It's a workout and it pays real good and they earn every dollar - I am not a stripper but I know some and I'm good friends with one. She does it to have fun and stay in shape, she's college educated and works as an accountant during the day. She has a loving (and gorgeous) husband and three kids.

If a man is stupid enough to pay a woman to undress for him, then that woman (stripper) has every right to laugh her way to the bank!
Sex sells and when a person can earn over a thousand dollars in one night in tips alone.........where else can one make that kind of money unless they are a super model or a Hollywood hazard?

Why do they do it? There are a couple of reasons but basically it's easy money did you know a stripper can make
$1500 to $3000 a week! The other reason......I know a stripper and most in this profession are lesbian and they get off on teasing these guy's and taking there money filling them with nothing but empty promises and laughing as they walk out with no money and horny. I have always been under the impression that those who complain about hot girls with beautiful bodies making a ton of money flaunting what they have are simply jealous because they don't have the physical attributes to do it themselves. Women who strip say that its empowering and liberating. I see nothing of the kind - how empowering is it to beg for money with your naked body? To me, strippers are no better than the homeless man on the street begging for change - they're just wrapped up in a better (though usually plastic) package. It definitely is an easier way to make money than getting a real job. And yes, it does make women look bad, but so many don't care. WHY?!
For some reason, men don't get any flack for going to strip clubs - it's gross and disgusting. Get a life! Go get a girlfriend! And if you have a significant other - go sex her up!!! The majority of people will defend there position all the way from strippers to the big oil company's polluting the earth .Your just picking out one group . I'm sure there has to be people looking at your job and wonder why you do it . I think it's the old "easy money" thing. It's a lot easier for some people to justify taking off their clothes as long as the money is good rather than scrubbing toilets somewhere or doing other actual labor. Personally, I think they sell their self-respect very short.

One thing we can never accomplish is to teach other adults not to value shallow things in life. You were either brought up not to value them, or you think it's a green light on such behavior.
Another thing we can't teach people is to have self-esteem and self-respect.
Many of these women you speak of are yes, in dire consequences without enough money to provide a decent home for their children. Working at wal-mart for 8$ an hour is simply not an option, and they have no higher education.
I don't believe they have anger issues towards men at all. Quite the opposite, I believe that these type of women base their self-worth on what men think of them, because again, they have no higher education and nothing to be proud of, hence no self-esteem or self-respect.
And then there are those that simply embrace that culture. They see nothing wrong with it because they take the subject matter far more lightly than do you or I. They were not brought up in traditional moral families, or they have rejected the philosophy.
None of these men are illusioned into believing that the women really care about them. They do believe that the women are enjoying themselves, and some are, because again, it is about getting attention the only way that they know how. Unless those women are also working as prostitutes, the men know that it is just a drunken fantasy, and nothing more.
You can't teach shame, morality, or decency to an adult. For those that have a different cultural view on the whole thing, I often wonder if it comes back to bite them later, and I assume it does, having witnessed it first hand in a few cases.
