Construction jobs in thailand . I'm a construction Foreman that just returned from a contract in Iraq.?

I have 11 years experience and am 29 years old. Thanks for any info.

Sorry but Thailand does not issue work permits for jobs that's Thai's can do. Your not going to find a job here in Thailand in construction. plus the pay isn't going to be near what you got in Iraq. your best bet is finding a company who is doing a job here and willing to hire you for it but even then you would have to speak Thai.

Construction foremen need to be able to communicate with the construction workers. So, you'd need to speak Thai, Isan, and/or Burmese.

Moreover, work permits will not be issued to construction foremen. You'll have to be at least project manager (engineer) in order to be able to "compete" with the locals for jobs in the construction industry.

Alternatively, you'll have to have a special expertise (or certification), e.g. to install telecom equipment.
