Good jobs in construction industry?

please tell me if you know of any good jobs in construction with good pay as well. im having a hard time deciding what to do in my future so a little help.

Your first questions really need to be what you have an interest in and also seem to have a knack for or what are you good at. An equipment operator will make more then some others will, but if you do not have the skill or physical ability(like eye sight or coordination) then consider something else. You may want to consider more then the money as well. While money does make a difference, you can make 50 dollars an hour and still hate your job. Be realistic with and about yourself, your skills, your likes and so forth. Lastly, consider what the likely trend of the job will be. In fifteen years will much of a particular job be done by computer or robot? I would suggest that you get into something that will help you not only make a living, but will allow you to work on the side and also help you do jobs at home. This may be more valuable the the hourly wages. For instance, a good carpenter can work side jobs or remodel his own home. So in the end, he may make a couple of bucks less an hour at work then another trade will, but he will have more opportunity for work and he can also save himself some money at home.

Whatever you decide to do, know that the more specialized training you get, the more you will get paid. I always thought it would be cool to be a tower crane operator. I know they get paid well, but it does require a lot of training. Avoid becoming an untrained labor worker, or you'll be shoveling concrete your whole life.

The licensed trades make more than the r\trades that do not require a license. Shoveling concrete or pounding nails doesn't pay very well.

I would suggest electrician or plumber. However, both of those will reequire some schooling as well as some time working as an apprentice. But once you get your master's license, both pay very well.

Good luck to you.
