Everyone here knows how to turn the box off and on.

Can you trouble shoot a computer that won't boot? I've fixed computers with bad start up files that MSCE people say requires a new mother board or hard drive at a cost of $200+ I go into the old C prompt use the old Text writer, find the offening start up file, correct it and then the systems comes right back on!

Can you troubleshoot hardware issue. One of our systems was down with error messages and I called the company and got 10 different things to do and they were about to send me 6 disks to reinstall. The next day someone smarter called me and had me disconnect, then reconned one device. That solved the problem. No re-installation of the system. No 6 disks. No new parts. I just took a wire off, put it back on, while the system was on, and then rebooted. No more problems.

That smarter person immediately saw the USB Mass Storage device that was missing from the equation at start up. They solved my problem in 5 seconds.

Can you install an operating system from a remote computer on a network! I've done that and spent all night with it trying to get it to reconnect to the network. It finally did that on it's own! But it too me playing with it, nursing it, turning it off and on before it finally decided to see the network.
